A Short Biography of Jean Valjean

Hello guys!!!!

    Today we gonna are make a short biography of Jean Valjean, a character of  "Les Misérables" a book of Victor Hugo. To understand his history you need to know that he lived in France in XIX century.
 

   Jean Valjean was arrested for stealing a bread, and stayed 19 years arrested  (5 years for stealing and 14 for try to run away). When he was released, he went to a small vilage and has passed the night in the house of Bishop Myriel, and stole the silver. The Bishop discovers and does him a promise that would use the money to become a better person.

   He traveled to the other side of the country, changed his name to Madeline and becomes mayor of Montreuil-sur-Mer, with the time the Inspector Javert (an officer who hunted Jean) begins to distrust that Madeline is Jean. After an accident Madeline dismiss Fantine and for take away the weight of consciousness he decided help her to get her daughter back.

   After the death of Fantine he went to the Thénardier's house, hold Cosette and toke her for Paris. They lived in a convent called Petit-Picpus, where the nuns educated Cosette and Jean Valjean (now called of Ultime Fauchelevent) has became gardener.
 
   Years later they left the convent and they moved for Plumet street, where Cosette met Marius and they fell in love with each other (but this is other story), one day Jean was at home and received a written note: move out, he and Cosette changed to a home on Rue de I'Homme Arme. One day a letter for Cosette was delivered by Gavroche, Jean read and discovers that the letter was from Marius and that he was in the barricade.


 Jean Valjean went to the barricade and found Marius hurt and takes him home through the sewer. When Marius found himself recovered he got permission of his grandfather to ask for Cosette's hand in marriage.

  Marius and Cosette got married, the day after the marriage Jean said to Marius that he is a ex-convictand, Marius horrified decreases the time that Cosette passes with her father.

  One night Thènardier went to Marius and Cosette house and tries to unmask Jean, with this he showed all the good that Jean had done. Marius and Cosette went to Jean´s house to say sorry for him, and they found him on the verge of death.
  Jean Valjean died that night and was buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery.
